COMMISSION TAKES LEGAL ACTION AGAINST LUXEMBOURG, IRELAND AND FRANCE ON ANIMAL EXPERIMENTS DIRECTIVE.

The European Commission has decided to refer Luxembourg to the European Court of Justice and to send reasoned opinions to Ireland and France for non-respect of the EU's animal experiment Directive (Council Directive 86/609/EEC).
