In an 11 July letter addressed to the President of the European Commission, Jose Manuel Barroso, MEP Marc Tarabella (S&D, Belgium) requests an explanation for the fact that the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) between the EU and Canada, which is currently being negotiated, incorporates elements of the provisions of the Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement (ACTA).
