Description:
The EASO Practical Guide on the implementation of the Dublin III Regulation: Personal interview and evidence assessment is a practical tool to support Dublin practitioners across all European Union (EU) Member States plus Norway, Switzerland, Iceland and Liechtenstein applying the Dublin III Regulation (Member States) in their daily work. This is a soft convergence tool, which reflects the common standards. The purpose of this practical guide is twofold. The guide assists the reader in conducting the Dublin personal interview with an applicant for international protection, as well as supporting the user to conduct an objective and impartial individual assessment of the evidence by applying the legal criteria and common standards equally. This is done in order to determine which Member State is responsible for examining the application for international protection lodged in one of the Member States by a third-country national or a stateless person.
