DECISIONE DELLA COMMISSIONE
del 14 febbraio 2007
recante modifica della decisione 2005/393/CE per quanto concerne alcune zone soggette a restrizioni in relazione alla febbre catarrale degli ovini

LA COMMISSIONE DELLE COMUNITÀ EUROPEE,
visto il trattato che istituisce la Comunità europea,
vista la direttiva 2000/75/CE del Consiglio, del 20 novembre 2000, che stabilisce disposizioni specifiche relative alle misure di lotta e di eradicazione della febbre catarrale degli ovini (1), in particolare l'articolo 8, paragrafo 3,
considerando quanto segue:
(1) | La direttiva 2000/75/CE stabilisce norme di controllo e misure per lottare contro la febbre catarrale degli ovini nella Comunità, compresa l'istituzione di zone di protezione e di sorveglianza e il divieto di uscita di animali da tali zone. |
(2) | La decisione 2005/393/CE della Commissione, del 23 maggio 2005, che istituisce zone di protezione e di sorveglianza per la febbre catarrale degli ovini e stabilisce condizioni applicabili ai movimenti da o attraverso tali zone (2), determina la delimitazione delle aree geografiche globali entro le quali gli Stati membri istituiscono zone di protezione e di sorveglianza («zone soggette a restrizioni»). |
(3) | Il 7 dicembre 2006 il Portogallo ha informato la Commissione di aver comprovato la circolazione del virus in diverse nuove aree periferiche della zona soggetta a restrizioni. |
(4) | Di conseguenza la zona soggetta a restrizioni relativa al Portogallo dovrebbe essere estesa per tener conto dell'attuale situazione meteorologica in tale |
