ANÁLISIS EN RETROSPECTIVA

RESUMEN

En el presente trabajo estudiamos los 25 años de evolución en la cooperación policial

y judicial en el seno de la Unión Europea y para ello hemos empezado estudiando cuáles

fueron los inicios de la cooperación policial y judicial en la UE y los avances que se han

ido sucediendo en esta materia. Además, hemos creído conveniente señalar cuáles son los

principios sobre los que se sostiene la cooperación y analizar cuáles han sido los instrumentos

que se han creado para alcanzar las metas que la Unión se ha marcado. Con ello pretendemos

confirmar la utilidad que tiene esta materia en el ámbito jurídico actual, dadas las nuevas

formas delictivas existentes, la globalización y la imperiosa necesidad de hacer frente a estos

nuevos retos con instrumentos eficaces y adaptados a estos tiempos.

ABSTRACT

In the present work we study 25 years of evolution in the police and judicial cooperation

in the bosom of the European Union and for it we have begun studying which were the

beginnings of the police and judicial cooperation in the EU and the advances that have

been happening in this matter. In addition we have believed suitably to indicate which are

the beginning on which the cooperation is supported and analyze which have been the

instruments that have been created to reach the goals that the Union has marked. With it

we try to confirm the usefulness that has this matter in the juridical current area, given the

new criminal existing forms, the globalization and the imperious need to face to these new

challenges with instruments effective and adapted to these times.
