ABB TO BUILD POWER PLANT IN UK.

The Swiss-Swedish electrical engineering and technology group ABB Asea Brown Boveri has won a USD215 million (Euro 196.67 million) turnkey contract to build and maintain a 400 megawatt power plant in Britain. The order for the natural gas-fired combined-cycle plant was placed by power producer South Coast Power Ltd, a joint venture of Scottish Power Plc and CSW International Inc.
