The European Commission approved on 16 June the acquisition by ABN Amro Lease Holding N.V. of the Dial Group in the vehicle leasing sector. The Commission's one-month review showed that the deal would not give rise to a dominant position, including in Spain where the combined entity's market share will be the highest in the European Union. The firms' business overlaps in the supply of vehicle leasing services.
