The submission deadline for the action line for data fusion and smart sensor technologies for humanitarian demining of the IST programme (action line IST2000 - 1.4.2) has been extended, following the publication of a study commissioned by the Joint Research Centre on the operational needs and equipment requirements for mine action in South-Eastern Europe. It was felt that the results of the study, carried out by the Geneva International Centre for Humanitarian Demining, could prove useful to proposers intending to address this action line, and the deadline for the submission of tenders has therefore been extended by one month to allow the study to be taken into consideration.
