The Association of European Radios (AER) - a Europe-wide trade body representing the interests of private commercial radio operators in France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Portugal, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden and the UK - has expressed regret that the French Presidency's Conference on Public Broadcasting in the Digital Age being held in Lille on 19-20 July. In AER's view, the debate should be opened to all parties concerned.
