ALBACOM EXPECTS TO BREAK EVEN IN 1999.

The Italian Albacom consortium which, on April 7 secured a licence to operate a public fixed telephony network, expects to break even in 1999, according to Company Secretary Giuliano Venturi. The group aims to achieve this through investments totalling 2,000 billion Lire up to 2006.
