AUDIOVISUAL: EURIMAGES ALLOCATES EURO 3.4 MILLION FOR FILM CO-PRODUCTIONS.

Three projects - Michael Haneke's "Le temps des loups" (France, Austria, Germany), H?l?ne Angel's "Dragon rouge" (France, Luxembourg) and J?rgen Leth and Lars Von Trier's "De fem benspaend" (Denmark, Belgium) have just received the support of the Council of Europe Eurimage Fund, mainly on the basis of their box office potential. In its March 1 press release, the Council also indicated that seven other projects have been supported on the basis on their artistic merit: Anders Ostergaard's "Herg? and his Universe" (Denmark, France, Belgium), Jean Pierre Lledo's "Le prix de rester un homme" (France, Belgium, Algeria), Aisling Walsh's "Song for a Raggy Boy" (Ireland, Denmark, United Kingdom), Marco Turco's "La straniera" (Italy, France), Vincent Dieutre's "Mon voyage d'hiver" (France, Germany, Belgium), Pekka Lehto's "Warriors of Independence (WOITKA)" (Finland, Sweden, Estonia) and Ugur Yucel's "Yazi Tura (Heads or Tails)" (Turkey, Greece). Eurimages Fund has just agreed to support these ten feature films for a total of Euro 3.4...
