The MEDIA Plus programme (2001-2005) boosted its support for the development of European audiovisual works in 2002, providing more than Euro 14 million for isolated projects or catalogues, with particular emphasis on documentaries, announced Jacques Delmoly, Head of the MEDIA unit at the European Commission, speaking at the 16th International Audiovisual Programmes Festival in Biarritz (France) on January 25.
