Pursuant to Article 82 (1) CTMR and Article 71 (1) CDR any final decision of the Office fixing the amount of costs shall be enforceable.

Pursuant to Article 82 (2) CTMR and Article 71 (2) CDR, enforcement is governed by the rules of civil procedure in force in the State in the territory of which it is carried out, and the Member States must designate national authorities competent for the enforcement of final decisions of the Office fixing the amount of costs. The Member States must make the designated authorities known to the Office and to the Court of Justice.

The following table lists the national authorities competent for enforcement which have, up to now, been communicated by the Member States (this is the case in respect of Germany, Slovakia, Austria, Denmark, France, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom). The table, moreover, lists the national authorities competent for enforcement, which have merely been designated by the Member States in their national law (this is the case for Spain).
