The European Parliament is trying to organise a meeting in the coming days with the Council and the European Commission on the revision of telecoms rules in the EU. As of 21 January, it had not yet succeeded. On that date, the Czech Minister for Telecommunications, Martin Riman, whose country currently holds the EU Presidency, presented his priorities to MEPs. "We are going to base our work on the Council positions approved unanimously on 27 November," he announced straight away, noting that the compromise by the member states had not been easy.
