BRITISH TELECOM LINKS UP WITH US INTERNET GROUP.

British Telecom (BT) said on November 10 that it was investing USD200 million in a joint venture with the US Internet browser group, LookSmart. BT said the 50/50 joint venture will be an Internet Service Provider (ISP) which will provide a wide variety of services, including electronic purchasing, in continental Europe and Asia.
