BRUSSELS OUTRAGED AT ASSASSINATION IN ISTANBUL.

European politicians and EU officials have expressed their outrage at the murder of Armenian-Turkish journalist Hrant Dink outside his Agos newspaper office in Istanbul on 19 January. Dink, 53, was well known for his articles about the difficult period of relations between Armenians and Turks during World War I. "I'm shocked and saddened by this brutal act of violence," said Enlargement Commissioner Olli Rehn.
