* Audiovisual/Culture Council of MinistersThe Culture and Audiovisual Ministers of the fifteen EU Member States will be meeting in Luxembourg on June 21. The meeting is expected to pass Resolutions on the following subjects:- the need for an exchange of information and experience between Member States and candidate countries in the broadcasting sector,- the need for an exchange of information and experience between Member States and candidate countries on the position of artists.Ministers are also expected to adopt Conclusions on the implementing measures of the Council's Recommendation on the protection of minors and human dignity. The Commission and the Swedish Presidency will provide information about:- the link between EU Directives and the broadcasting sector;- public service radio and television;- the Commission's report into the implementing measures of the Regulation on the export of cultural artefacts and the Directive on the restitution of cultural artefacts illegally exported from a Member State.* Research CouncilResearch Ministers from the fifteen EU Member States will be meeting in Luxembourg on June 26. They will hold a policy debate on proposals for Decisions to establish the Sixth Research and Development Framework Programme (2002-2006) - see article on this subject in Section I.
