CANAL+ ANNOUNCES 19% INCREASE IN CONSOLIDATED TURNOVER FOR 1998.

On February 12, the audiovisual group Canal+ announced a 19% increase in consolidated turnover for 1998 to Euro 2.474 billion (FF16.234 billion). This figure only concerns wholly integrated companies and does not therefore cover thematic channels or subsidiaries in Spain, Poland, Belgium and Italy. At constant parameters, turnover is up 12%.
