(1) El Reglamento Delegado (UE) n.o 1062/2014 de la Comisión (2) establece una lista de sustancias activas existentes que deben evaluarse para su posible aprobación para su uso en biocidas. Dicha lista incluye el clorofeno (n.o CE: 204-385-8; n.o CAS 120-32-1).
(2) Se ha evaluado el clorofeno para su uso en biocidas del tipo de producto 2 (desinfectantes y alguicidas no destinados a la aplicación directa a personas o animales), tal como se describen en el anexo V del Reglamento (UE) n.o 528/2012.
(3) Noruega fue designada Estado miembro ponente, y su autoridad competente evaluadora presentó el informe de evaluación, junto con sus conclusiones, a la Agencia Europea de Sustancias y Mezclas Químicas (en lo sucesivo, «Agencia») el 22 de diciembre de 2016.
