"The life of women and men in Europe" is a new publication launched by the EU Statistical Office Eurostat and the European Commission's Directorate-General for Employment and Social Affairs, the first issue of which was published on October 8. The publication presents statistics on the differences and similarities of women and men in the EU. Data, whenever possible, is also provided for the candidate countries.
