DEUTSCHE TELEKOM DENIES WANTING TO HOLD ON TO ITS CABLE NETWORK.

The German telecommunications giant Deutsche Telekom, denied on November 9 it wanted to keep control of its cable television network, while recognising that it did not want to sell more than 35% to major investors, a DT spokesman, Stephan Bossio said, reacting to an article of the Handelsblatt daily newspaper. Deutsche Telekom wants to keep 25% and one vote in this network. It plans to "sell the remaining 40% on the stock market within to years", he added. This 40% will not have voting rights, he said.
