Having conducted an appraisal of its costs, Deutsche Telekom, the world's third telecommunications operator, will persist in demanding a monthly payment of DM47.26 excluding VAT from its competitors for the use of its telephone connection sockets, company Chairman Ron Sommer told the Handelsblatt daily on September 24.
