The Information Society Directorate General has launched an invitation to tender concerning two studies which would estimate employment change in the telecommunications sector. The objectives are to obtain a consistent methodological framework, to provide detailed and reliable employment figures on the EU telecommunications sector and to provide a time series estimate and forecasts of employment in mobile telephony.
