Vocational education today has become a great necessity. This is due to the

concretization, its passive awareness is just

er pro
f
essional education. This is an undeniable
f
act. Macedonia and Kosovo o
er the same education too. However, whether the la er are
preparing students
f
or the international market or not, remains a puzzle.
W
e conducted a comparative study in order to examine the syllabi o
f
two vocational schools,
A
rseni Jovkov” in Macedonia and “Jonuz Zejnullahu” in Kosovo, and
nd out which one
b
e er satis
es students needs and expectations.
I
n addition, we interviewed three teachers
f
rom each school.
I
t is to be noted that we adapted a critical approach throughout the study.
B
ased on the
ndings, it is revealed that none o
f
the schools o
er

or their students.
However, while in Macedonia it is the Ministry itsel
f
through the Bureau o
f
E
ducation that
d
esigns the syllabus and is the determiner o
f
the school textbooks; in Kosovo pro
f
essors do
have a kind o
f
autonomy in designing their syllabi. Nevertheless, the la er although having
a
n advantage in this regard, yet again choose General
E
nglish course instead o
f
E
SP.
I
n any
case, the Ministries o
f
both states should re
ect upon
E
SP, and incorporate it in the school
curriculum, considering the
f
act that pro
f
essors are willing to adapt
