EU LOOKING AT MIDDLE-EAST TYPE ASSOCIATION AGREEMENT WITH UKRAINE?

Ukraine's wish for closer integration with the EU still looks far short of realisation, to judge by the tone of recent high-level talks in Brussels on December 8. A visit by Ukraine's Foreign Minister to the European Commissioner for External Relations, Hans van den Broek, resulted in a meeting which was described as "constructive" and "useful".
