The European Commission announced on December 20 that it has concluded two of the three pending disciplinary procedures concerning EU officials relating to the irregularities which took place in its Stockholm Representation. The former Head of the Representation, Linda Corugedo-Steneberg, has received a "written warning" for failing to supervise sufficiently the person in charge of administration and budget and allowing excessive flexibility in the temporary use of certain wrong budget lines. The former Deputy-Head, Sven-Olov Carlsson, has received a "deferment of advancement to a higher (salary) step" for a period of one year; it has been established that he accepted two invoices which contained incorrect information, for very minor amounts.
