FRANCE TELECOM/LA POSTE E-BUSINESS ALLIANCE.

France Telecom and La Poste recently signed a deal covering the entire range of electronic commerce services, from online sales to delivery to the customer, the two groups announced at the end of June. The partnership will offer potential cybernet businesses "the first comprehensive one-stop shop, covering the whole e-business chain, from online orders to delivery to the final customer" according to the two entities. As part of the service, France Telecom will allow companies to enjoy its "electronic commerce" service involving online order management, a secure payment system, order follow-up and delivery activation. The group will also offers companies sales support services, label, highlighting merchandise sites on the "www.telecommerce.fr" website, electronic discount coupons, customer clubs and merchandise clubs privileged referencing to sites... Companies may also turn to specialist, approved e-commerce partners for help in setting up and housing their sites.
