for the first tim e sin ce t he recor d ye ar of 20 07 , w hen it amou nte d to aroun d EUR 2 .3 bil lion. Com pared to 201 5, the t otal
contractual value of r ecorded sales i ncreased by approxi mat ely one four th, which is the high est increase since th e st art of our
moni toring process. Com pared to 2013, when t he value of sales am ounted to approximately EUR 1.3 billion, thus bein g the
sm all est sin ce th e st ar t of our m on ito rin g pro cess, it g rew by a lm ost tw o th ird s. We c an exp ect th at t he fin al num b er of resi den tia l
real pr operties sold w ill com e close to the record v alue regist ered in 20 07. Th e increase in the num ber of sales of r esidential
real propert y cont inued last year for the th ird y ear in a r ow.

pr operty increa sed b y 6 0 pe r ce nt and was on ly around 5 p er cent low er com pared to 2007. Sales of office, r etai l, service

real prop ert y is co nti nuin g in th e ar ea of Cent ral Slov enia. The p rice s of flat s a nd ho use s after hitting bot tom at t he st art of
20 15 show a m or e obv io us r ising t r end. There has been a t urnaround in t he m arket of building land. After nine years of
decline, the num ber of sales and prices sh ow a st rong growt h trend. Last year, sales of farm and forestland also increased in
th e ar ea of Cen tral Sloveni a. Th e valu e of m arket sales of farm land in com pari son with the prev ious y ear in creased by m or e
th an one fi ft h and reached almost EUR 3 .2 m illion. The av erage pri ce of farmlan d w as EUR 2.10/ m2 and did not ch ange. The
va lue of ma rke t s ales of forestland l ast year re ached al most EUR 1 .4 mil lion , a dr op o f on e fi ft h in com par ison wi th th e pr ecedi ng
year. Thi s decrea se in sales w as du e to a decline of 36 per cent in t otal area of forestland sold last year . The average p rice of
for est land, which was EUR 0 .48/ m2 last year , incr eased by one fif th in compar ison wit h t he p recedi ng y ear.
Sales of commercial real propert y ar e m ostly concentr at ed in Ljub ljana, wher e last year Slov enia r ecorded 8 4 per cent of all
sales of offices and 53 per cent of all sales of other busin esses pr em i ses in Cent r al Sl ov enia. There w as a low num ber of
