KIRCH AND MEDIASET SIGN PARTNERSHIP DEAL WITH SPYGLASS.

The two leading lights of the audiovisual sector, Leo Kirch and Silvio Berlusconi (Mediaset), have signed a film production partnership agreement with the Californian-based company Spyglass Entertainment, according to a press release Kirch issued on October 29. Under the terms of the deal Kirch and Mediaset will acquire all the rights for Italy, Germany, Spain, Poland and the republics of the former Soviet Union as regards showing the entire Spyglass film catalogue on television and cinema screens and in a video format.
