Abstract
Thebloodcollectionintheathlete’skneewithoutsueringinjuriesofthesofttissuesrepresents
a dangerous potential to the future of the athlete. The operational and rehabilitative problems
meanthatthe operativephasemusthavespecicaentionto haveexcellentresults bothfor
recoveryandforgoodjointfunctioning.Particularaentionmustbepaidtothehematoma,to
decidewhetherthebestsolutionforthedamageistheoperationorrehabilitation.

Introduction
Thecasesstudiedtrytotakeintoconsiderationalargemarginofathleteswhohave
had Haemarthrosis problems. Both surgical and non-surgical aspects have been
studied in these athletes. In addition, secondary damage to the ligament structures of
thekneewasalsoconsidered.
Material & methods
The study period involves the years from 2010-2020.
Allof them comprisingof competitive athleteswith regular activitiesandtraining
involvingatimeframefrom3to10years.Theaverageageoftheinjuredathleteswas
23.4years, theyoungest of them14 yearswhereasthe eldest28.7 years.Thestudy
materialinvolvescasescomprisingof13menand3women.
Depending on the side of the injured knee:
1. Therightkneewasinjuredon12cases75%,
2. Whereastheleftkneeon4cases,25%.
Thisspreadingwithinjuriesoftherightkneeat75%ofthecasesisaclearindication
thatthevastmajorityoftheinjuredathleteswererightfooted,andthereareonlyfew
of them using the left foot.
Divided according to the sports exercised we have 7 or 44% out of the cases, in
basketball4casesor25%,volleyball3casesor19%,athletics1caseor6%,wrestling
1caseso6%.
Inour study series 6 athletesor37.5% of the generalnumberofthe athletes were
performedsurgery.Therewere2footballplayers12.5%withruptureoftheanterior
cruciateligamentaswellasonefootballplayeror6.25%withameniscus rupture.1
