I
n medieval literature of Vietnam, the nature and people in the mountainous areas were
isolated. But thanks to the new literary movement during the period of 1930-1945, forest story
was born with the names of many famous writers such as Lan Khai, The Lu, Luu Trong Lu,
TChya, Thanh Tinh, Nguyen Tuan, Ly Van Sam...
A
mong these writers, Lan Khai was dubbed
a
s the Greatest Forest Writer. His writings about the nature, customs and mountain people are
v
ery a ractive. He did not only praise the beauty and goodness but also condemned the forest
destroyers, wildlife killers, robbers who ruined human happiness.
