Microsoft, which called on September 30 and October 1 for the suspension of "remedies" imposed by the European Commission when it condemned the group for abuse of a dominant position, has expressed itself as "confident" in the judicial process as it was on its arrival in Luxembourg. Microsoft argues that the only real beneficiary of the "remedy" will be the American group RealNetworks, Microsoft's competitor on the audio and video access software market. Microsoft sought to paint itself before Judges in Luxembourg as the victim of a decision that exposes it to "counterfeiting", whereas its competitors insist they simply want to "co-operate" with the group as in the past.
