MODERNISING EUROPE.

Everyone is interested in a strong Europe'. In this spirit, during its EU Presidency in the first half of 2011, Hungary will do everything to make Europe "more modern and more competitive," declared Conservative Prime Minister Viktor Orban. In an interview entitled Making the Europe 2020 strategy a success', published on the Council's website (www.consilium.europa.eu) on the first day of his country's EU Presidency, Orban states that "Europe must be able to stand in a much stronger global competition than ever before".
