NOKIA SUED FOR PATENT FRAUD.

The Finnish telecommunications company Nokia is being sued for infringing a patent, it was reported on June 7. "Nokia is infringing on a patented invention that makes it possible to answer the phone without touching it, using a button on the hands-free device or voice control," said Antti Kosunen, chief executive of Anadeus, a company that protects the rights of patent-holders. Mr Kosunen claims that if he wins the case, the inventor, Jari Lahtinen, could stand to win millions or tens of millions of euros. According to Mr Kosunen, the inventor filed for the patent in 1995, and was awarded it in 2003.
