Recurso presentado el 10 de julio de 2013 contra Islandia por el Órgano de Vigilancia de la AELC

El 10 de julio de 2013, el Órgano de Vigilancia de la AELC, representado por Xavier Lewis y Clémence Perrin, agentes de dicho órgano, 35, Rue Belliard, 1040 Bruselas, Belgium presentó ante el Tribunal de la AELC un recurso contra Islandia.
El Órgano de Vigilancia de la AELC solicita al Tribunal que:
1) Declare que, al no haber adoptado ni notificado sin demora al Órgano de Vigilancia de la AELC todas las disposiciones necesarias para incorporar a su ordenamiento jurídico el artículo 2 del acto a que se hace referencia en el punto 16b, primer guion, del anexo IX y el punto 4, primer guion, del anexo XII del Acuerdo sobre el Espacio Económico Europeo (Directiva 2009/44/CE del Parlamento Europeo y del Consejo, de 6 de mayo de 2009, por la que se modifican la Directiva 98/26/CE sobre la firmeza de la liquidación en los sistemas de pagos y de liquidación de valores y la Directiva 2002/47/CE sobre acuerdos de garantía financiera, en lo relativo a los sistemas conectados y a los derechos de crédito), adaptado al Acuerdo mediante su Protocolo 1, en el plazo fijado, Islandia ha incumplido las obligaciones que le incumben en virtud de dicho acto y del artículo 7 del Acuerdo.
2) Condene en costas a Islandia.
