1.

On 9 April 2025, the Commission received notification of a proposed concentration pursuant to Article 4 of Council Regulation (EC) No 139/2004 (1).

This notification concerns the following undertakings:

— Rethmann SE & Co. KG (‘Rethmann Group’, Germany),

— Transdev Group (‘Transdev’, France), controlled by Caisse des Dépôts et consignations (‘CDC’, France).

Rethmann Group will acquire within the meaning of Article 3(1)(b) of the Merger Regulation sole control of the whole of Transdev.

The concentration is accomplished by way of purchase of shares.

2.

The business activities of the undertakings concerned are the following:

— Rethmann Group is globally active in the fields of (i) water management, recycling and industrial services, (ii) manufacturing of quality products for human and animal nutrition, agriculture, pharmaceuticals and industrial applications and (iii) international transport solutions for goods,

— Transdev is active in (i) the operation and development of local public transport services and systems (including coaches, buses, trams, trains and metros) in several EU Member States...
