Abstract
InwiththeestablishmentofdemocracyinAlbaniaspecialaentionwaspaidtoschool
leading and management. Due to deep reforms in the Albanian education system, it was a good
opportunity for the Albanian school to have a more modern managing aspect. On the other
handtheaentionshouldbebasedevenonthenancialmanagementaspectnewrelationship
with parents, community and local government. Based on this point of view, it should be ac-
cepted that good positive steps were undertaken, but there is much more to be done for a long
termeectivemanagementandleadingroleofschoolasthebasicpointofeducation
This manuscript aims to explain step by step the role of the principle of a school as a manager
and the contribution of supporting factors (parents and community) in a good school manage-
ment.

Introduction
The issue of an institution management has been and is an issue that has concerned all
peopleworkingdirectlyindierentinstitutionmanagementpositionsIncaseof an
institution failure, the manager of that institution is rarely blamed or at least it is the
last responsible person for that situation. People are never evaluated based on their
human qualities or professionalism. On the contrary, generally the focus is put only
inhisprofessionalknowledgeon hissuccessfulbackgroundand in manycases
ignoring the real managing qualities a manager should have in order to succeed in the
performance of the institution such as schools or other education institutions. Being
a successful manager in a given institution especially in an education it means hard
work, a lot of obligation, much responsibility and various human contacts starting with
children, being the most important factor of school, continuing with their parents who
areinterestedaboutschoolsuccessandwiderwiththecommoncommunityoering
the trade market, which is the future of their children and society in general.
Main Concepts
One of the most important concepts we come across generally in the school is that of
management: manager qualities – are the qualities that a successful manager should
have, born or gained through experience. The word management comes from the
