REGLAMENTO (CE) No 1180/2008 DE LA COMISIÓN de 28 de noviembre de 2008 por el que se establece un sistema de comunicación de información sobre determinados suministros de carne de vacuno y porcino destinados al territorio de la Federación de Rusia (Versión codificada) LA COMISIÓN DE LAS COMUNIDADES EUROPEAS,
Visto el Tratado constitutivo de la Comunidad Europea,
Visto el Reglamento (CE) no 1234/2007, de 22 de octubre de 2007, por el que se crea una organización común de mercados agrícolas y se establecen disposiciones específicas para determi nados productos agrícolas (Reglamento único para las OCM) (1), y, en particular, su artículo 170 y su artículo 192, en conjun ción con su artículo 4,
Considerando lo siguiente:
(1) El Reglamento (CE) no 2584/2000 de la Comisión, de 24 de noviembre de 2000, por el que se establece un sistema de comunicación de información sobre determi nados suministros de carne de vacuno y porcino desti nados al territorio de la Federación de Rusia (2), ha sido modificado de forma sustancial (3). Conviene, en aras de una mayor racionalidad y claridad, proceder a la codifi cación de dicho Reglamento.
(2) De acuerdo con el artículo 2 del Protocolo no 2 sobre asistencia administrativa mutua para la correcta aplica ción de la legislación aduanera del Acuerdo de colabora ción y cooperación por el que se establece una colabo ración entre las Comunidades Europeas y sus Estados miembros, por una parte, y la Federación de Rusia, por otra (4), las Partes deben prestarse asistencia mutua para garantizar que la legislación aduanera se aplique correc tamente, sobre todo previniendo, detectando e investi gando las infracciones de dicha legislación. Para llevar a cabo esta asistencia administrativa, la Comisión, represen tada por la Oficina Europea de Lucha contra el Fraude (en adelante denominada 'OLAF'), y las autoridades rusas acordaron crear un mecanismo de información sobre los movimientos de mercancías entre la Comunidad y la Federación de Rusia.
