TARA, MILENA, ANASTASIA...: NEW GALILEO SATELLITES.

After Thijs and Natalia, here come Tara, Milena, Anastasia, Tijmen and Oriana. Tara Keber (Slovenia, ten years old), Milena Kaznatsejeva (Estonia, 11), Anastasia Panagiotakopoulou (Greece, 12), Tijmen van Kraaij (Netherlands, 11) and Oriana Remy (France, 10) will give their name to Galileo satellites. These young kids won - in their respective countries - the Galileo Drawing Competition organised by the European Commission to raise children's interest in space activities. Over 16,000 children across the EU participated in the competition, and now 27 will have a Galileo satellite named after them. Ceremonies will now follow in quick succession...
