National regulatory authorities (NRAs) in EU Member States will shortly examine roaming agreements between operators, often accused of charging too much for calls originating abroad. European Commissioner for Information Society and Media, Viviane Reding, at a press conference on December 6, mentioned the possibility of telecommunications NRAs taking co-ordinated action on excessive roaming prices in the EU.
