onlyasan innovativemethodbutalsoasacrucialin knowledgedevelopmentaccordingto
thenewmethodsintheteachingprocessHoweverthiscanchangeeventhoughthelearners
levelitisdeterminedandtheyaredividedindierentclassroomsandthiswideusageofthe
informationtechnologyishorizontal butalsoverticalNowadaysschoolsarefurnishedwith
cabinetsof informaticswhich areused forthebenetofthelearningprocess andthey are
mainlyusedbypupilsTheaimofthispaperistogiveanoverviewofthetechnologyusedin
the teaching process in Albanian schools and the accessibility to this technology.

Teachingischangingandtheimplementationofdierentmethodsistransformingit
intoachallengingjobThelatestdevelopmentsintechnologyfromyeartoyearclaim
thattheeducationandthepreparationofthenewgenerationmustbefarawayfrom
isolatedteachingandlearningwiththeaimtotransformtheunreadableinformation
intoanactiveprocessofteachingNowadaysteachersandprofessorsareenriching
theteaching processwithnew technologyelements Inthe majorityof publicand
private high schools, teachers have started to include multimedia elements in their
teachingIn thearea ofeducationtechnologyandespeciallytheuse ofcomputers
haveincreasedinarelativelyshortperiodoftimeandnowithasbecomepartofour
livesInAlbaniathisprocessisinitsbeginningsbutweareontimetoupdatewith
thelatest changesof thisnew technologyin everyaspectofourlivesEducational
technology is an important branch of the modern teaching.
Despitethefactthatnewtechnologyhashelpedimprovingthelearningandteaching
processthereareunintendedeectsthataccompanytheadoptionoftechnological
innovation The problems include technology supported cheating opportunities
communications-related distractions from emails, instant messaging, computer
games web surng and other personal projects lack of engagement with the
