The right to family life, as any other human right, is universally enjoyed by all children
without distinction o
f
any kind, such as race, sex, origin, social, economic status and other
n
on-discriminatory criteria provided in national and international acts
.

This right begins to be enjoyed at the moment states adopt laws focusing on the protection o
f
children from birth and integration into the family.

the national and international commitment to sanctionin

ystem of legislation for children, it is imperative to implement and take measures to ensure

he e ective enjoyment of the right to family life, the observance of which is a crucial step
t
owards respecting the principle o
f
the child’s best interest.

iven the sensitivity of the case, this study aims to present a general overview of the

mplementation o
f
the law in question, in view o
f
national and international jurisprudence.

earing in mind the current issues and the role of the state in minimizing problems, the paper
presents a ref‌l ection on the importance of enforcing children's rights by any state institutions
