The Thomson group issued a statement on November 27 announcing the launch of a range of wireless broadband audio IP voice (VoIP) terminals, the first manufacturer to offer these services via DECT and Bluetooth wireless technologies. "Broadband audio offers better sound transmission quality than traditional analogue or standard IP telephony signals", according to Bruno Fabre, Thomson Vice-President with responsibility for telecoms.
