Abstract

Contemporary flows of development of human society and increasing human activities

in the field of computing and the Internet, which increase the need for identification of

problems by priority, as well as analyzing and defining the ways management and

working in the field of computer science specifically in the utility to customers.

Technology to a great extent improves communications are within the workplace,

whereas today there are many opportunities through various software and applications

that work to move much faster. This research aims to show knowledge of computer and

internet usage in the company K.R.U “South Hydro” JSC.

Introduction

Currently, in the XXI century the world has taken to using the opportunities that

technology provides. In Kosovo there are companies that have workers in Kosovo,

and give services for the German market, Swiss, Italian, etc. With technology

developing working class is moving towards globalization and to be employed

anywhere in the world will no longer matter where you are. If you look in

retrospective, the 90th can count on the fingers households had a computer at

home, while companies we could not. Many companies can have a calculator, fax

and a landline phone to meet the daily need. Workers have lost time on technical

issues - if a mistake was made in a document or invoice, then had to be written

anew. Documents are stored on shelves and if had used back then had to be rewritten

from scratch. But capacity development of employees in their work in the company,

leaves much to be desired (STIKK, 2012). Almost all professions there were many

delays and non-professionalism precisely on the impossibility of use the technology

that we have available today. If we compare the work of a doctor or economist now

and years ago, it can be clearly seen how technology has changed the world for the

better. Today, all over the world invested more in the use of technology. Employees

enjoy the advantages of technology in the implementation of their daily work,

whether drafting a budget, checking the patient, customer service, management of

one or more points of sale, to the taking of the daily news.
