Vodafone, the UK's leading mobile phone operator, announced on January 9 that it is to team up with Sony with a view to launching a menu-based music service that will allow customers to access music on 3G mobile phones and PCs. "Vodafone DJ Radio", will be available in the next few months in six countries in Europe (UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and Portugal), with Vodafone intending to extend this to twenty or so countries next year.
