the other party to the proceedings before the Board of Appeal of EUIPO, intervener before the Court, being

PayPal, Inc., established in San Jose, California (United States), represented by A. Renck, lawyer, and I. Junkar, Solicitor,

ACTION brought against the decision of the Fourth Board of Appeal of EUIPO of 11 November 2019 (Case R 1988/2018-4), relating to revocation proceedings between PayPal and Hub Culture.

1 By letter lodged at the Court Registry on 4 December 2020, the applicant informed the Court, in accordance with Article 125 of the Rules of Procedure of the General Court, that following an amicable settlement reached with the intervener, it wished to discontinue proceedings. The applicant further informed the Court that, as agreed between itself and the intervener, each party shall bear its own costs in the present proceedings.

2 By letter lodged at the Court Registry on 17 December 2020, the defendant informed the Court that it had no objection to the discontinuance of the proceedings and requested, pursuant to Article 136 of the Rules of Procedure, that the applicant should be ordered to bear the costs, or in any case, the defendant should not be ordered to bear the costs.

3 By letter lodged at the Court Registry on 3 December 2020, the intervener also informed the Court about the amicable settlement and that the applicant and itself had agreed that each party shall bear its own costs in the present proceedings.
