BANKING: HLB AND LB KIEL MERGER CLEARED BY COMMISSION.

Two German public sector banks, Hamburgische Landesbank Girozentrale (HLB) and Landesbank Schleswig-Holstein Girozentrale Kiel (LB Kiel), have been granted clearance to merge by the European Commission.
