BELGIUM's MOBISTAR UNVEILS NEW TECHNOLOGY.

Mobistar, the Belgian mobile phone subsidiary of France Telecom, said on November 9 that it intends to introduce the "General Packet Radio Service" (GPRS) technology on its mobile phone (GSM) network sometime next year. This technical innovation will make it possible for Mobistar customers to have access to the Internet and Intranet, as well as to the range of interactive information services available on the new generation of mobile phones.
