* Tenth European Television and Film Forum

Staged each year by the European Institute for Communication, this Forum brings together media professionals to exchange ideas, experiences and expectations. This year's Forum, to be held at the Finlandia Hall in Helsinki from September 24 to 26, will focus on "Innovation and continuity: television and film on the threshold of the 21st century" with discussions on the future development of these two mediums and the evolution of European media policy.

Multimedia and Internet Convergence

The 21st annual Conference of the Institute of Audiovisuals and Telecommunications in Europe will be held in Montpellier, France on November 19 and 20. The event will focus in the theme: "Convergence: it is having the desired effect?" and will include a seminar on "The Internet, a new economic order?".
