* Filtering software information dayAn information day on filtering software and services will be held in Brussels on 15 February as part of the EU Action Plan on promoting safer use of the Internet. The meeting will give an interactive opportunity to clarify the scope of the call for proposals and to encourage the formation of consortia through question and answer sessions, informal discussions with Commission staff present throughout the day, partner search through presentations of project outlines and informal discussions with potential partners. In the afternoon, a workshop will be organised as part of the benchmarking study being carried out at the request of the European Commission's Information Society DG by the Joint Research Centre in Ispra.
